What flies work best for you?

What part of the river do you catch most fish?

    When do you recommend going?

What time of day is most productive?

What size of fish do you catch?

    What fish do you target?

POST your response, and if you have pictures, ADD PICTURES. A picture is worth a thousand words.

On my latest trip to upper Clackamas, I caught 13 fish on May 28th.

Of those 13, I caught four small trout on a dry/dropper setup with a stimulator dry fly. Three of the four took the Rainbow Warrior nymph as the dropper. The other was a Green Root Worm.

I also caught three trout on a Parachute Adams dry fly. The biggest fish was on a Parachute Adams.

The other six fish were all on a dry fly, Elk Hair Caddis.

Here is a pic of the Parachute Adams Patrick used to catch his big trout.

Thanks for the update on what works!  Very helpful.  Was this just walking distance from the campground?
